Celebrating Lebanon’s Independence Through Learning and Appreciation

Stars College Students Visit the Lebanese Army Barracks and Receive a Token of Appreciation
In celebration of Lebanon’s Independence Day, Stars College organized a meaningful educational visit to the Lebanese Army Barracks, offering students a unique opportunity to experience the values of patriotism, national pride, and civic responsibility firsthand.
Upon arrival, students were welcomed by members of the Lebanese Army, who introduced them to the mission, responsibilities, and daily operations of the Armed Forces. Through guided tours and interactive discussions, students gained valuable insights into the dedication, discipline, and courage required to safeguard the nation.
As part of the visit, Army personnel showcased various facilities and explained the importance of unity, service, and commitment in maintaining Lebanon’s security and sovereignty. The experience helped students connect classroom learning with real-world national service, reinforcing the significance of Independence Day beyond celebration and ceremony.

In a warm and honorable gesture, the Lebanese Army presented the students with a token of appreciation (عربون تقدير), recognizing their interest, respect, and participation. This thoughtful gesture left a lasting impression, strengthening the bond between the Army and the community and highlighting the importance of mutual gratitude and national unity.
The visit concluded with heartfelt discussions and group reflections, where students expressed admiration for the Armed Forces and a deeper understanding of the country’s history and enduring resilience.
Through this enriching experience, Stars College continues to promote civic awareness, encourage respect for national institutions, and inspire future generations to appreciate the sacrifices made for Lebanon’s independence and freedom.
