LAU MUN Training Session 1: A Powerful Start to the 2025–2026 Leadership Journey

Radiating drive, dialogue, and determination, LAU Beirut Campus welcomed students from across Lebanon on November 1 for Training Session 1 of the Lebanese American University Simulation Models (LAUSM)—marking the official start of this year’s journey toward leadership, diplomacy, and global citizenship.
Stars College proudly participated in this dynamic kickoff event, where our delegates immersed themselves in the foundational elements of Model United Nations. Under the warm hues of fall, students attended an informative session on Emotional Intelligence, led by Dr. Joelle Hachem, equipping them with essential interpersonal and leadership skills.
Throughout the day, our delegates:
- Engaged in interactive workshops
- Practiced public speaking and negotiation
- Learned diplomatic procedures and MUN rules of engagement
- Strengthened critical thinking, communication, and teamwork

This year’s theme, “Leadership in Motion,” reflects the purpose of LAUSM 2026 as it prepares youth to lead with confidence, empathy, and global awareness.
Training Session 1 marks the first step of our students’ MUN journey this academic year—a journey that will empower them to become articulate, solution-driven, and thoughtful young leaders.
Stars College continues to encourage participation in international programs that broaden perspectives and strengthen the qualities of global citizenship.
