Students from Grade 8 will embark on an enriching visit to the traditional handicraft workshops in Tyre, where they will explore the artistry and heritage behind local craftsmanship.
Exploring our heritage helps students connect past traditions with the skills and creativity of todayβs generation.
Through direct interaction with artisans, learners will observe how cultural traditions are preserved through handmade pottery, weaving, copperwork, and other crafts practiced in the region. This hands-on experience allows students to connect classroom learning with real-world cultural expressions, develop an appreciation for Lebanese heritage, and reflect on the social and historical importance of artisanal work in community life. The visit also encourages curiosity, observation, and meaningful inquiry as students discover how creativity, identity, and culture intersect in everyday craftsmanship.
